11 Things You Can Do With Toothpaste

What self-respecting couponer doesn’t have a draw full of toothpaste, right? Everybody knows if you wait for the right deal and you have the right coupon you can stock up a year’s worth for free. And if it’s free, then wouldn’t it be cool if you could use that toothpaste for something else, too? Well, here ya go… 11 things you can do with toothpaste – other than brushing your teeth!

Shine chrome faucets and fixtures: Use a dab of white toothpaste on a clean, soft cloth and buff chrome faucets and fixtures to make them shine like new.

Eliminate moisture rings on wood furniture: Using a soft cloth, gently work a dab of white toothpaste into water rings on wood furniture, then wipe with a damp cloth. Watch those rings disappear.

Clean glass-top stoves: Don’t waste money on those expensive cleaners when all you really need is a dab of white toothpaste and a little elbow grease.

Fill nail holes: If you only have one or two nail holes to fill, use white toothpaste instead of buying a whole tub of filler. When it dries it’s just as hard as the expensive stuff.

Get rid of crayon marks on walls: Just a dab on a damp cloth and crayon marks come right off your walls.

Grimy car headlights: A little toothpaste on a damp cloth cuts through the grime and makes your car’s headlights shine brightly again.

Cloudy glassware: If you have a dishwasher then you know how the detergent can leave a cloudy residue on your glassware. A dab of toothpaste on a damp, soft cloth cleans the residue away.

Polish the silver: Buff away the tarnish from silver with a dab of toothpaste on a soft cloth.

Eliminate scuff marks: Don’t damage your floors with harsh abrasives. Use toothpaste and a soft cloth to get rid of scuff marks.

Remove kitchen stains gently: Again, don’t spend money on expensive cleaners that may be too harsh for your kitchen countertops. Use toothpaste and a soft, damp cloth. A little dab’ll do ya!

Make your jewelry sparkle: Use a small amount of toothpaste on a damp cloth and gently rub your silver or gold jewelry to make it shine like new again. Use a soft-bristled toothrush to get into nooks and crannies. Check our clipping service for Toothpaste coupons
