Frequently Asked Shipping Questions

Yes, it is. We provide free shipping via USPS First Class Mail on all orders.

No, due to the nature of our website we do not offer any type of paid shipping.  When you order from multiple vendors on the same order we have no way of knowing which vendor you want to ship your item via Priority mail unless you put a note on your order – which most people do not do.  Then, by the time you and I and all the vendors get done play email tag your coupons may be expired.

Some of our vendors who offer whole inserts do provide Priority shipping but if that’s the case you’ll see it noted on the listing when you order.

 

 

Please do NOT assume we didn’t ship your order just because it still says “In Processing”.  Changing your order status from “In Processing” to “Shipped” is a manual function, it doesn’t happen as soon as the seller drops your envelope at the Post Office.  All orders are processed and shipped in accordance with our Same Day shipping policy.  If we are extremely busy your order status may not be changed until the following business day.  After all, it’s much more important to YOU that we ship your order.

Please do NOT assume we didn’t ship your order just because you didn’t receive an Order Confirmation email. Customers put the wrong email addresses on their orders all the time. Order Confirmation emails are generated automatically and go to the email address you provide. Our system does not recognize incorrect email addresses. Email service providers also frequently change their filters to thwart spammers. Email that once came into your inbox may now go to your spam folder or may not be delivered at all, but we have no control over that.

No, you can not cancel your order.  Our customers rely on us to uphold our Same-day Shipping Guarantee which means we have to clip and ship orders as soon as they hit the printer.  If we waited around to see if someone wanted to change their mind we’d never get anything shipped.

One of the services we provide for our customers is the guarantee that someone will be here to answer your questions. Because our sellers are busy clipping and shipping, and because many of them have other commitments outside their clipping services, all questions and concerns come through The Happy Couponer Marketplace so we can ensure they get answered for you.

We have absolutely no way of answering this question. Our best guess is 5 to 7 business days, but this is only an estimate, not a guarantee. We have absolutely no control over how quickly or how accurately the USPS delivers the mail.

Please do NOT assume your order didn’t ship just because you didn’t get a Shipping Confirmation email. That email from the seller that confirms he shipped your order may have gone into your Spam folder. It may also have been dropped by your email provider. Email providers change their filters all the time without your knowledge.

The Shipping Confirmation email you normally receive does not go out to you automatically as soon as the seller sticks a stamp on the envelope. These emails are manually generated by the seller, which means he has to go back to his computer to send them to you. When the seller has a lot of orders to clip and ship his first priority is to get those orders in the mail ASAP.

In most cases we do not issue refunds if your coupons don’t arrive before the sale ends. Again, we have no control over how fast or how accurately the Post Office handles your mail.

“It never takes this long to get my coupons from that other clipping service!”

“It only took 2 days the last time I ordered from you!”

“I’ve never had to wait more than 2 days – You guys SUCK!”

Because our free shipping is via First Class Mail there is no tracking available from the Post Office. And even when you pay extra for tracking the USPS.com website is not updated regularly or accurately, and the Post Office only guarantees they’ll refund your shipping fee if it’s not delivered on time. They do not guarantee the cost of the merchandise enclosed.

Because mail carriers are human, it’s possible your coupons are still sitting in the truck or they may have been accidentally delivered to a neighbor. Contrary to popular opinion, mail carriers are not required to deliver every piece of mail as soon as it hits their mail bag. They’re only required to deliver those pieces of mail deemed ‘Important’ – and the definition of ‘Important’ is left up to the carrier. I’m sure you can understand how that definition fluctuates when there’s 2 feet of snow on the ground and the temperature is below zero.

And we’re sure you’ve accidentally received at least a few pieces of mail addressed to someone else. What did you do with it? Did you hand-deliver it yourself? Did you turn it back to the Post Office? Of maybe you just dumped it in the trash!

Because your husband or children often handle the mail, it’s also possible your order was set aside, dropped behind the bookcase, tossed out with the junk mail, or any one of a thousand different scenarios.

The ONLY thing we guarantee is Same Day Shipping for all orders placed by Noon EST Monday-Friday. The USPS promises delivery in 3-5 business days but we do not guarantee delivery times.  Our best estimated delivery is 3 – 10 business days, but even this is just an estimate. 

Please note: Because we provide free shipping we ship via First Class Mail and have no way to trace your order. We have no control over your order once it leaves our table and enters the USPS system.  We do not make any delivery guarantees, nor will we issue refunds if the USPS doesn’t deliver as fast as you want them to, even if you’ve paid for Priority shipping.

It doesn’t matter where you live. It doesn’t matter how fast your last order arrived or how fast your orders arrive from other clipping services. It doesn’t matter when your sale is over or that you’ve already pre-ordered the product and you have to pay for it whether you have the coupons or not. We Can Not AND Will Not Guarantee Delivery Times.

Please keep this in mind when ordering coupons that might expire before you receive them or when ordering coupons to meet a sale deadline.

Important: We ship to the address you provide – exactly as you enter it. Please be sure to include all necessary information when you enter your shipping address.  If the Post Office alerts us that your order is undeliverable, for any reason, we have no further obligation.

Account that have no activity for more than 3 months are automatically deleted from our database.  You’re always welcome to create a new account and this can be done at the Checkout page.

Accounts are automatically created using the email address you gave us on your first order.  Make sure you’re using that same address when you try to log in.  If you gave us an incorrect email address on that order, perhaps you missed a character, then that incorrect email address is the one you’ll need to use to log in.  

If you can’t remember the email address just use the contact form and give us a shout.  We’ll be happy get you into your account.

If you’re in a hurry though, go ahead and shop and create a new account – with a different email address – at checkout.  We don’t mind how many accounts you have.

If you’re sure you have the correct information and your account is still active, try clearing your browser cache.  That’s generally all it takes to get you back in.

You can only leave feedback on your order after your order has been marked ‘Complete’.  

When your order is marked ‘Complete’ it simply means that we have finished processing your order and it has shipped or will ship the next business day.  This is just to let you know that we’ve seen your order and it has been processed through our system.

We understand you might not be completely satisfied with your experience and we welcome negative feedback because it helps us improve our service. 

However, if you have a problem and don’t contact us before it gets to the point where you feel it’s necessary to leave negative feedback then we’re going to delete your feedback.

You sure can!  Just click through at checkout and when you get to the Paypal screen you’ll see a link you can click that will allow you to use a credit/debit card.

All refunds are isued via Paypal.  If you paid with your Paypal account then you should see the refund immediately upon issue.  If you paid with a credit or debit card then their terms apply and it could be up to 5 business days.

No, we do not allow pre-orders or offer any type of subscription service.  Our sellers are only permitted to list items for sale if they actually have them in stock and ready for shipping.

The Tide and Gain coupons are not in every P & G insert.  These coupons are only published in select marketing areas and those areas can vary from one month to the next.  Our whole insert sellers are required to use the Product Description area to include a complete list of coupons that are inside their inserts.  Be sure to read the complete list before you place your order.

*sigh* Really?  Face it.  You ordered the wrong insert and we are not responsible to replace it or send you some Tide coupons.
